Notes reported from work table 4: Blended Learning

• blended learning is more than recorded lectures
• not necessarily digital
• needs to be interactive digital: can be in class or synchronous
• can include regular ongoing assessment and feedback
• can be convenient for students
• students that come to class perform better
• doing something collaboratively in class
• attach marks to activities that students do in their own time
• student maturity and aptitude can determine if effective. Postgrads can do better
• need to introduce them to students and what is expected of them
• takes a lot of time
• needs support to be effective
