Notes reported from work table 4: Blended Learning
- blended learning is more than recorded lectures
- not necessarily digital
- needs to be interactive digital: can be in class or synchronous
- can include regular ongoing assessment and feedback
- can be convenient for students
- students that come to class perform better
- doing something collaboratively in class
- attach marks to activities that students do in their own time
- student maturity and aptitude can determine if effective. Postgrads can do better
- need to introduce them to students and what is expected of them
- takes a lot of time
- needs support to be effective
